The Grace of God has Come to us…Receive it!

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. (Titus 211-14).

Divine Visitation, Salvation has come to us.

For the grace of God which bringeth forth salvation hath appeared unto all men. Not the words “bringeth forth salvation” Christ alone could give it and Christ alone dies bring it. He did not send it by the hands of another, no prophet or cleric could hand it to a man, for Christ alone is both author and message. What good would a message be without a messenger. How powerless would a message be if its source could not hand it down personally.

Eternal life as a gift? “Too good to be true!” Impossible, unless the creator himself were to personally give it to me and I experience the immediate reality of it. Friend, God himself must bring that message and that gift to you. No other can bring it, for it is something God alone can create and God alone can give. He is both creator and giver, messenger and message. I would not trust a salesman to tell me of a billion pound offer, unless that salesman himself was the billionaire who was giving me the billion. Neither would I trust any prophet to say heaven was mine if I do a Jihad. Liars, fake prophets are as common as mud under your shoe. Only God can give eternal life and he alone must bring it.

My question then is, what proof is there that God has brought you (past tense) yes has already given it?  God himself and told us, The grace of God which “bringeth salvation.” John a witness of such a transaction said it like this, “He came among us, we saw him, we talked to him, we fellowshipped with him..the word of life.” (1 John 1:1).

Oh how different to man’s religion which tells another story, pray more, read more, go to the temple more, fast more. No  grace never tells us to come up to him, this salvation comes down to us. It comes like a letter with my name on it, open it up, read it. Look what it says, for it tells you of one coming to you to bring you a gift, glory dressed as humanity, grace dressed up in human disguise, salvation coming as a person in person. The grace of God appearing, Christ himself appearing to all men, now coming to you.

That “bringeth salvation.” His coming, is itself the grace of God, he could have stayed in glory, but he(himself) bringeth salvation.

The man Christ Jesus comes to you, comes to me “as salvation” Jesus is the grace of God coming to us as salvation.

Grace is a gift of God, the gift of God is eternal life. Jesus is both the gift given and the giver of the gift. He is grace and the giver of it too. There is no differentiation between God and his gift the Gift of “God” is eternal life. Authenticity lies in the great truth. Whatever God gives he gives himself. All other prophets promise things they cannot give but this man gives it himself. His life, his peace, his pardon, his blood, his power, his life, his person.

Friend, dont mistake grace for your part in the transaction either. No grace is not of you, you did not create it and you can’t give it. Grace is God’s part, his grace is him coming to you. When he could have destroyed us and wiped us all off this planet. Grace came to us!

Not only has he come, but he’s constantly coming to us, with the offer of grace on the table. That’s grace my friend. Thank you Lord for not giving up on me. When I gave up on me he was still there. He keeps coming with his offer of pardon, redemption, he knows I cant afford it, but it’s not mine to buy. Grace is his offer and its free. The grace of God For the grace of God which bringeth forth salvation hath appeared unto all men. Yes we can say the grace of God has appeared to me. Shout that aloud right now “The grace of God has appeared to me!”

Thank you Lord. I’ll take it!

Brother Paul.
