How a Missionary Measures Wealth.

I will sing until the Lord because he has dealt bountifully with me (Psalm 13;6).

I have been in my home in UK for over two years writing and thinking of missions and making a mission to us. its always been my passion to go there. I desire to go there (again) for that is where I am called to go. the call is something I have received for the lord and the calls also that Which is in me. It’s in me to go.  Now I know many will go to America to start a new life, but let me talk as a missionary preacher. When you have the call of God on your life you go  there because its in you to obey God and his call on your life. You see my priority is not a changed life but a fulfilled life. I have folks who tell me, well what about your house? (here in the uK) I tell them, a house can become a prison when you are not obeying God and similarly one can have a beautiful home in America and be a prisoner there too.

Blessings are not measured by living standards but by obedience to your calling.I have lived in America for over 17 years up until 2010 and discovered an amazing secret. I was most fulfilled in life not when I had possessions but when I had purpose. My blessing was not not having a nice home, a full time job and a big income and health care. My blessing was having purpose and its having a wealth of purpose that I felt God had dealt “bountifully” with me. Yes bountifully with me. My needs were always met and I had a bountiful measure of purpose. The experiences I had as a travelling revival preacher, I will always talk about. The memories are like gold. I know this I won’t talk about my experiences living between four walls here in UK but I will tell you of the treasury of memories I have from my time staying in the sticks, or living in a 10 foot trailer or preaching in a tent revival in Waco Tx and seeing a drunk sobering up at the sound of the name of Jesus.

If you are contemplating serving the lord, first cleanse your motives then seek to put his purpose in your life first, then obey him not considering the cost. then finally serve him by doing his will for your life that’s where the adventure is.its in the obedience and so too is the blessing. Never once in obeying my purpose did I have to beg the Lord for money. I can truly say the Lord has dealt bountifully with me. Why, because I was in USA? No! but because I’m in the place God desires me to be. I’m rich, how about you?

Godhead..Demonstrating the Fulness of Deity!

In him dwelt the fulness of the godhead Bodily (Col 1;19).
Divine fulness. In Jesus nothing is lacking. He is God’s perfection and himself, perfect God.
What God was he as a man is and the perfection of it.
Jesus is the perfection of all that God was and is. This means that man, cannot be perfect as a man without being one with God as Jesus was one with God, for it is only in oneness can we receive fulness. Just as a man who is one with his wife is full of love for his wife so too, a man that is one with God is full of the love of God.  When man ignores the oneness of God teachings in scripture, he deprives himself of Christlikeness and can no more be a son of God any more than an estranged wife be his wife. Oneness is not a signed marriage contract, its not a paper thing! It’s not what you read, it’s what of God that you embrace in its fulness,  and its only in the embracing of “oneness” with God can man fully, truly and completely manifest God. Hence the importance of knowing the Jesus who as man is the Godhead bodily.

Matthew 28:19 the Name in Baptism

And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen (Matt 28;17-20).

I would suggest that it was what Jesus said immediately before he prefaced His command concerning baptism by saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me, (28:18). Therefore or because I have all authority, do this, baptise them in the name…. yes the name of him who is God. The emphasis on the Great Commission is on the authority of Jesus and the authority of his name to do signs and wonders. The disciples recognised that the name (authority) into which we are baptised is the same name who had just claimed all authority in heaven and earth:  In acts the apostles baptised into the name and without the name no one was baptised. The act as in the authority lay not in a phrase but in the “name” over which the candidate who confessed their sins was reborn.

Does Baptism Save us?

When Moses was born his mother hid him, “she took an ark of bulrushes”  and covered it with “asphalt and pitch” (NKJV) and hid him. (Ex 2;1-3) She placed him in an “ark.”  Noah was instructed by God to build an “ark” covered with “pitch” (Gen 6;14). Both these arks were placed in water.
The ark and the water is a symbol of water baptism. Preservation and salvation. It was through the ark that’s Moses life was preserved from a wicked Pharaoh and it was through the ark that Noah and his family were saved from the flood that covered the earth. “Doth not baptism now save us?
“The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:”  (1 Peter 3;21) baptism and salvation are connected, resurrection and baptism are also connected. Baptism is a deliverance.

Sin’s Power over me is Broken

Sins power over me is broken
When he died I died
When he arose I arose.
Sins power over me in broken (Song by TBJoshua).

These lines tell us a secret of the new life which is found is the Lord’s DEATH, BURIAL and RESURRECTION. We enter into the new life the resurrected life through death, burial and resurrection, which becomes ours through baptism, yes baptism in his name. When we are baptised in JESUS name we are baptised for the remission all sins (Acts 2:38) and bury the old nature. When we receive his Holy Spirit, we arise into the newness of life as a new creation in him.

Through baptism, I am CRUCIFIED with Christ (Gal 2;20 ). I am BURIED with him by baptism (Col 2;12) I am RISEN with Christ (Romans 8;11). And YOU being dead in your sins hath he quickened (made alive or resurrected) together with him having forgiven all trespasses (Col 2;13). Have you been baptised into the NAME of JESUS?… Therefore declare today: “Sins power over me is broken!” in Jesus name, Amen.

Your miracle awaits your obedience!

Nothing great for God has ever been done without an act of faith.
Abraham obeying God to leave his land not knowing where he went would be rewarded by a city. A great act of faith never repeated. (Heb 11:8).
Sarah receiving strength to conceive yet passed child bearing age gave birth to a child. A great act of faith never repeated. (Heb11:11).
Moses leading a nation faced a Red Sea. he stood and command the waters to part. An act of faith we all know about in Sunday school. A great act of faith never repeated. (Heb 11:29).
Joshua walking around a city seven times, telling he people to shout the walls down on the seventh circuit.. A great act of faith never repeated. (Hebrews 11:30).
Friend, What great act of faith will you do?
Notice faith is an act we do. God takes care of the miracle. In fact he will turn your act of obedience into something no man will forget. I see a new boldness coming to you to do that which has preciously evaded you. “This time your faith will stand tall and you will speak to your wall” you will command your read sea, you will conceive that which is impossible. Your miracle awaits your obedience. The miracle awaits your act of faith!
